As summer vacation comes to a close and students ready to return to the classroom, Georgefest is gearing up to offer southern Utah’s biggest end-of-summer last bash.
Friday night, Aug. 4, Georgefest welcomes the return of a Main Stage favorite, the band Sego of Los Angeles. Performing for the first time at the Jazz Garden, Sego is known for its rugged indie rock meets techno.
Adding a little friendly competition in August, Georgefest is laying down a challenge to SUU T-birds and Dixie State Trailblazers. The first college student to find their mini mascot at Georgefest and win $100 cash. Clues will be available at the Jazz Garden Entrance (student ID or proof of fall registration required for participants to qualify).
Don’t miss the indie rock band Wildflower Studies at Main Stage from 7-8:30 p.m. Then, the DJ Dance Party is moving to Main Stage this month from 8:30-10:30 p.m.
Georgefest is nightlife you can get excited about every first Friday at Historic Downtown St. George.
